Wow. Sounds like she's a bitch. I'm sorry. If that was me I'd seriously consider breaking up with him or have a sit down talk about why his mother said that and how the relationship can be repaired. It's possible too that he talks to his mother about issues you guys have.

Yes, because the boyfriend should be blamed for the mothers indiscretion.. I'm sick to death of these "Break up with him" comments. It might be beneficial to sit down with the mother instead and ask why she dislikes OP.
