Today, I was prescribed anti-anxiety medication due to the high level of stress that I experience at my job. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the medication because I do not make enough money at said job. FML

Anti-anxiety medication never did any good for me. All it did was sedate me so heavily that I was barely functional (and I was on the lowest dose possible). Honestly, the only thing that's worked for me is to remember that work isn't my whole life, practicing deep-breathing methods (it sounds weird, but it's amazing how much you forget how to breathe when you're stressed) and not feeling guilty during the time I DO have off from work.

on my iPhone and don't know how to message but your profile is hilarious lol. I want to get into hogwarts so bad but let me break it to you. dumbaldore is dead and I'm pretty sure there is no hogwarts for the time being :D

last I checked walmart has those meds for $4. Now idk where your from but you can always ask the doctor to write for something more affordable.

Unless of course your job also drug-tests. Then it's a bit risky.

137, I suppose you haven't heard of recent correlations found between habitual marijuana use for non-chronic illnesses and parkinson's disease and schizophrenia. Not to mention, as 138 nicely pointed out, many positions require not only orientation drug tests, but random drug tests throughout employment.

we already pay more. we pay more per capita for health care than any other country with national health care. look it up.

if the stress of your job is documented by the doctor's office, you can file a worker's compensation claim.
