Today, I was riding on my bike when a guy on the street shouted, "I LOVE YOU!" at me. I recently told my boyfriend I loved him, and his response was, "I don't love you but I won't treat you any differently." Perverts on the street love me, but my boyfriend doesn't. FML

The person on the street was just a random crazy and your boyfriend doesn't have to love you. In fact, what bothers me the most is when people say "I love you" just because they're in a relationship... even if they aren't really in love. #1, her boyfriend isn't an ass for telling the truth. AND he said he won't treat her any differently. He sounds like a gem.

#2 - true. #1 & 3 - You're special Just be happy he isn't treating you any different. You're probably too young to know if you're in love or not, and you're probably just infatuated. What have you known him for, a few months? I hate people who just dive around bloating "I love you I love you" when all they have is the "I love having a bf/gf" feeling. You disgust me. Your bf sounds like a winner at whatever age he is. That stranger is a good soul, he needs a prize. YD worse.

If anything the stranger on the street shows you how EASY it is for people to lie through their teeth with that phrase 'I love you'. Your bf probably isn't ready to say those words just yet. Just because you are with someone doesn't mean they are going to love you JUST like that.
