Today, I was riding on my usual bus, when I noticed a man staring at me. I was having a really bad day, and said "Can you please stop staring at me?" He then replied with "I'm just trying to look out the window, and your head is in the way. Don't flatter yourself." FML

Why is that bad? Cant you accept that not every man who sees you isnt instantly actracted to you?

Call me sick minded, but I swear this said, "I was riding the usual man...". o.o

don't feel sad many people have big heads

he was probably just covering his own ass.

Jesus ******* Christ, look at these comments! So angry! It's natural to think someone's staring at you when they're looking past you. Are you just being more judgmental because OP's a girl?

So let me get this straight you thought the guy was staring at you so you decided to get mad at him, but then when it turns out he wasn't staring at you you're mad at him. great logic there

Props to the OP for calling him out! That takes guts. He probably actually was staring. Even if he wasn't, he could have been more polite. What he should have said (if he wasn't actually staring): "sorry I gave the impression I was staring, that wasn't my intent." Public transportation is often an uncomfortable and vulnerable place to be for women. It would be nice if men would recognize that and be sympathetic and courteous about it.
