Today, I was scheduled for an interview at a local firm owned by two partners. The secretary told me to be there at around 12:00 to 12:30 pm, so I arrived at 12:15. The first boss told me off for being early, the other one yelled at me for being late. FML

Sounds like a delightful work environment. They're bitching at you even before you're on the payroll.

Maybe that WAS your interview. They wanted to test you ability to reasonably and compellingly argue your case to win them over. That way they could get a sense of how you'd be in the courtroom.

Lack of proper communication in the chain of command leads to an unstable business and you are probably better off in the long run.

I don't think I've ever been in trouble for coming early, unless I'm w a girl

Now u know the jobs not for you so just set fire to the office when there all there and enjoy the show

Who gets mad at someone for being early?

Don't take the job if they're going to be anal like that

That sucks, but I've gotta say, for something job related, I would have shown up a couple minutes early, for the earlier time. As a general rule, early looks infinitely better than late.

Sounds like both of them don't talk to each other much either...if one says late and the other early.
