Today, I was T-boned at an intersection. My wife got pissed when I didn't immediately check on her, but rather the other driver. That other driver was my daughter. FML

FYL OP. You were just using your natural parental instincts, although it sounds like your wife has none.

Gee OP. That's gotta be rough. I just hope for the sake of your family that everyone is ok and not hurt. Hopefully your wife will get over it.

I had a T-bone last night. It was undercooked -- some parts were almost raw -- but I powered through and polished it off. I didn't want my entire table to wait on me as the slow-ass kitchen made a second attempt to cook it to order.

Go away #28. We aren't here for a soap opera.

Your wife has no feelings how can she do that :/ a guy sometimes can get stupid lol but girls do to that's how we are n we should accept it not be violent about it :P ouch feel better hun

You did the right thing by checking on her first. If your wife only cares about her own safety first then she needs to re-evaluate herself.

Yes parental instincts would kick in. But for him to be able to leave the car the daughter probably hit the passenger door. So for him to realize it was his daughter he was already looking past his wife at the other car. So he was originally more concerned about the car than his wife anyways. And the wife was in the position to most likely get hurt in that accident.

had you checked on your wife first your wife would have gotten mad that you didn't check on your daughter

Your wife is an idiot. Any parent would make sure their kid was okay before checking on anyone else. Had I been in that situation, I would be livid if my husband hadn't checked on the daughter first, whether it's her daughter as well or not.

You are kind of an idiot. Clearly, in a situation like this the first person you check on is your insurance agent. Your new premiums are going to be more painful than any silly physical injury you might sustain in a collision!

When I was knocked off my motorbike, my husband (then boyfriend) ran to the bike and killed the engine before he came to me. I completely understood why. I'm pretty sure both of us would do the same if one of our kids were in a car crash and the other would understand. I agree, FYL. Sorry.
