Give the poor girl a break. What if she has Irritable Bowel Syndrome? I reckon she started grinning as soon as he said she was beautiful, then turned it into a giggle to hide her glee and was about to brush it off by saying something like, 'Don't be silly, of course I'm not. You're just saying that,' when the unfortunate expulsion of gas made its entrance. Maybe. Seriously though, people laugh nervously all the time. She sounds sweet, not a bitch.
