I wouldn't worry too much, a 'boyfriend' when you're 10 is hardly the same as when you're 17. Don't compare yourself! P.S. dating is hard. It takes some people longer to find someone who appreciates them, and some people go through many crappy relationships before they find a good one. I'd rather have no dating history than a bunch of exes who were assholes.

If the young cousin has a bf at 10, sounds like she may have a lot more to deal with at 17, like maybe kids. The pressure to get with someone is really overrated, coming from a girl who didnt date until 19. Be happy and do your own thing; afterall, you can't love someone if you dont love yourself.
