Today, I was telling my students that it's unnecessary to put arrows on the bottom of the page to tell me there's work on the back, I check it anyway. At the end of the day, at least 6 kids came up to me asking to change their grade because I forgot to grade the back. They hadn't put arrows. FML

Today, while correcting essays, I spilled ketchup on a student's paper. I managed to successfully turn it into a happy smiley face but when proudly looking at the result, noticed it was right next to the big "F" that I had graded it. FML

what if they like to draw? I would say you want to see overly ornate arrows, done in the style of midlevel Bible scribes who would do that fantastic "artistic first letter on the page" thing.

just let them draw arrows. tbh, I don't see any problem with drawing an arrow. if you get annoyed by it, too bad. there's worse things in life.

Uhh FYL because you told students not to draw arrows on the bottom of their papers, they obeyed you, and then you realized you were wrong in telling them not to, and had to regrade a couple papers? Oh...OK. Just making sure I didn't miss anything. Your life is far from ****** my friend.

Its really not the end of the world...just don't expect them to take you seriously for a while. Surely complaining about arrows was undeeded though I doubt they were anything big and intrusive and could be easily ignored.
