Today, I was texting at work when my manager walked in. I quickly dropped my phone in the garbage to avoid trouble. Since I was working so hard, she decided to do me a favor and throw the trash out for me. FML

1. You were texting at work. In itself, that's not so bad, but clearly you were aware that at your particular workplace there would be trouble if you were caught. 2. What kind of manager goes around emptying her employees' trash cans? She may have seen the whole thing. And if the can was full enough to be emptied, you could've voided her justification for doing it by emptying it yourself earlier. 3. So, YDI.

ah employers...what a bunch of idiots. do you expect your employees to be at their desk/office/counter before their shift starts or expect them to finish what theyre doing even if their shift has ended? i love the hypocrisy in employment.
