Hey guys, OP here. After reading some of the comments I can see there is a bit of confusion. The babysitting thing was a great gig at the start. She was paying me $200/week. What had happened was she hurt her back and couldn't work but had to go to multiple dr appointments there after. I was wanting to take a CNA course that cost $500. So we agreed she would pay for the class if I continued to watch the kids during her appointments. I held up my end she didn't.

A similar thing happened to me with my uncle and his six children , ever since then I've made sure to get paid at the end of the second week that I've worked , I guess we just have to learn from our mistakes :(
Take her ass to small claims.
Take pay per night that way you won't get cheated...
Step 1. Tell your relative that you will file criminal charges, take them to court, and ruin their credit unless they pay you immediately. Step 2. Go to the nearest Police precinct. File a report for "theft of services". Say you wish to press charges. Step 3. File a claim in small claims court. Remember that people like this don't only screw over one person; they screw over many. You have a responsibility to protect other people from this type of behavior. (And if your friend has any money, you are likely to get paid in the process.)
You got paid $500 for 6 months? You ripped yourself off.
Judge Judy!!!!
you dont really know your friends until they owe you money. sorry op.
