Today, I was walking around my new school trying to figure out where to go. Then I realized I was talking to myself. Out loud. FML

When I moderated this, I filed it under "adolescent self-consciousness", which sells a lot of skin cream but isn't very funny. You know, like "My mom asked to friend my bff on facebook FML it's all over Christ strike me dead because I'll never live this down graghhhnyahafgh!!!" Get over it, OP; you haven't scorched the green fields of your social life into a barren moonscape just yet. Most of the kids passing in the halls were just as self-absorbed and awkward as you.

I do something similar. If I catch myself talking to myself, and there are people around, I'll just start spittin' lyrics and act like I was rapping the whole time. It looks cooler that way. BTW, I think 3-6 Mafia is cool, but I'm always spittin' MF Doom lyrics.

Nah ... I don't believe it's that bad. It's not like it's the end of the world. I mean, if you were looking around and stuff and talking to yourself(?), people walking by would obviously realize you were a new student, amirite?

who hasn't done that? really. I mean yeah in a new school it might take you a <little> longer to make friends if ppl think ur nuts... but hey at least you found your class right? or did you? lil

that's normal, it's when you talk back to yourself, then you're crazy

should've posted this on MLIA •¥• not rly an FML

So? I talk to myself all the time. It's the only way I can be sure of intelligent conversation. (Bonus points to all who get the reference. :P)

OP, dont flatter yourself. people dont care about you, youre not the center of everyones world.

WE ALL DO IT We all have mental conversations with ourselves.
