Today, I was walking down the street and I saw my brother on the other side of the road. He lives overseas and always told me he would visit when I least expected it. When I saw him, I got so excited I jumped on his back, screaming his name. It wasn't my brother. FML

That's so sad. You miss someone so much and then you think they are there, and its not them. How crushing. How could anyone say you desreve that? When people miss someone they alway grab on scraps of hope. At least you love your brother.

Yeah, something embarassing happens to everyone all the time, where you do/say something to a stranger because you think that it's someone else when you see them. :( That happened to me as a little kid. The OP just misses his/her brother. FYL though, for becoming excited, then having all your hopes crushed.
