Today, I was walking home when I saw an elderly woman struggling with a large bag of garbage. I asked if I could help. I got it all the way to the dumpster and the bag ripped. Inside were about fourteen dead cats. FML

I couldn't tell how many for sure but it was pretty heavy and the smell was unbelievable.

so sad, those poor cats, years ago I moved into a new house, the former tenants left lots of garbage out the front, I got sick of waiting for the real estate to fix it so started trying to break it up to put it in the bin. I found a dead cat in with the rubbish, just left out the front with garbage

I dug it a grave and gave it a name and a funeral, I sat with it for a few hours and apologised for the life it should of had, still affects me now, so sad.

Time to call the humane society, you never know how many other cats/animals may be dead/dying in her place.
