Today, I was writing a very important email to my college professor. I went upstairs for something and came back down to send it. I later asked him today why he hadn't responded to which he said "I'm flattered...but can't." My roommate had added "love you xxx" at the end of the email. FML

Haha, I've learned from FML to always double check my emails before I send them

Hahaha. You think that's bad, I know some friends who stuck "because jesus said so" in someone's report when the left their report open on their computer... Buddy never proofread that either.

think of it this way, maybe you'll be his top student ;-)

hahaha...that's embarrassing. Do you go to a small college? Because that's even worse...you'll see him around even more. You should just send him an email explaining what happened. Or just....leave it.... And it doesn't mean you're ugly, it means your teacher has morals.

that's why i hate room mates. having room mates is such a terrible idea. you save money, but the damage that comes from having room mates costs so much more than the money you save.

Umm in some cases but not all roommates are bad.. Do you think you would be a terrible person to live with? There are some normal people in this world you know.

Ahaha. #4, thats hilarious. and learn to double check what you send in an email! haha.

if you tell the professor what happened and say it was just a practical joke, he'll understand lol

is it jus me or are roommates dicks on this website lol

I wonder what the contents of the letter is? Because many times girls typically write xoxo at the end, and most professors would just take it as a way of signature. I question what the contents of the letter were because typically a letter to a professor would relate to homework or assignments or grades, at which he would answer and not with, "I'm flattered." Just say you forgot to turn off your signature in your email, and you typically write to your bf, even if you don't have one. That way you're fresh out of it, and no awkwardness.

What was so important that you had to go upstairs to get it before taking the second to click send...? And #19, that's because people who talk about their roommates here are all complaining - this is F*** My Life XD
