Today, I live in dorms and found out everyone is leaving for Christmas break. I also found out my student loan didn't go through, so now I cant afford to go visit my family that lives over 7 hours away. I guess I'll be spending Christmas alone in a dorm room. FML

Today, my college roomate and I received our first pieces of mail. We were very excited because our mailbox wasn't empty anymore. She got a package of home baked cookies in the mail from her family. I got a letter from a stranger in prison. FML

Today, after having recently moved 300 miles to be with my boyfriend of 2 years, I have to celebrate Christmas alone. He never thought our relationship important enough to tell his family about me, and doesn't want it to be "awkward." FML

Today, I went to my dad's house for Christmas. Soon enough, my grandma had commented on how much weight I've gained, my aunt asked me why I'm still single, and my dad joined in by reminding me that I still haven't been accepted into college. Only three more days to go. FML

Why do you have a "home, where [you] live alone" and live in a dorm room. That doesn't make any sense at all. Why in the world would you pay for both? And if you don't have to pay for one of them, then WHY do you pay for the other. This makes absolutely no sense.

FYL for being a loser. Hardly anyone sends cards anymore. You wrote the fml so clearly you have the internet, and that's where all the cool kids are sending christmas greetings these days. Chances are you didn't send any christmas cards either so don't go expecting everyone else to. And if you're so lonely organise something. Go out with some friends. That makes more sense than going straight to the internet to complain about your lonelines..
