Today, I went in my room to play my guitar. I found my Les Paul on the floor with all the strings missing. I later found out my grandma cut them off because I was playing "Devil's Music." FML

Today, while tuning my bass guitar, I noticed a very strange screeching sound. I leaned over to look behind the neck. The biggest string snapped off and cut the side of my face. FML

Today, I was walking down the street with my acoustic guitar on my back. I saw a girl that I like coming down the opposite way, so I decided to play my guitar to try and impress her. I started to tune it quickly, but while I wasn't paying attention, I ran into a pole. Now my guitar is cracked. FML

Today, my girlfriend and her mother bought a hanger for my $2000 guitar as a birthday present. They wanted to surprise me by hanging it on the wall. They screwed it upside down, so before I came home it fell off and my guitar broke. FML

All you idiots who are saying "OMG it's just strings, replace them" are missing the point of this FML. It's an FML because his grandma damaged his property (although the damage was minimal) for ridiculous religious purposes, it has nothing to do with strings. Furthermore, let's say he replaces the strings. What makes you think his grandma won't do the exact same thing again? Better yet, she probably will do some serious damage after finding out that cutting the strings has no effect on the "devil music". God, this site is so full of morons.

I guess you know that it's not the strings, which you can replace, it's the grandma. If you replace the strings, she'll just do something even worse to the guitar, like snap it in half. Sorry about the crazy grandma... :(

*twitch* Luckily I can only mediocrly play 'Stairway' and Jeff Beck's version of 'A Day In The Life'. Cuz my mamaw would totally do that. Good thing she lives two hours away! And lucky, you have a Les Paul! Page, Harrison, Slash, a bunch of great guitarists play that. It has to be my favorite. That or a Epiphone Casino or a Rickenbacker (*is a Beatles nerd*)

Eh, I'm more of a Strat fan, Explorer if I want humbuckers. Anyways, strings are 5 bucks, you probably needed an excuse to get some fresh strings anyways. Honestly, I'm surprised the headstock didn't break off since you said it was on the floor. I guess she laid it down instead of just dropping it.
