Today, I went into hysterics and started crying when my boyfriend pulled out a Tiffany's box at dinner. Then I found out he'd used the old box to make the $15 earrings he bought seem more "special." FML

Today, I opened some small cute birthday gifts at my boyfriend's house. As we left to go out, he slipped me a Tiffany box and said he wanted me to open it in private. It's never good to jump to conclusions. Sure, it was in a Tiffany's box..but that wouldn't have automatically made it a ring, anyway. If it had actually been jewelry from Tiffany's, it could have been anything. OP, you really shouldn't have gotten so worked up before even seeing what the box contained.

I don't see what women see in expensive jewelery... It's honestly ridiculous. A guy puts his effort into offering something nice and all she cares about is not being expensive! When was the last time you offered something so expensive to someone, OP? quit being a stupid, money interested girl and be greatful that your boyfriend cares about you and bothered to offer you something he thought you would like....
