You really shouldn't snoop. I'm sure you wouldn't like it if your mom was going through your phone reading all of your messages. Haven't said that, what's done is done. I think not saying anything about it is the worst thing you can do in this situation. I think you should confront your mom, tell he the truth and tell her that either she can tell your dad or you will tell him.

If it's true, then the father definitely has a right to know.

First of all, YDI for being snoopy and going through your mom's phone. I'm sure there would be another FML from you if she checked your phone.You brought it on yourself, but also, FYL because that must be really awkward if you worked close to them. And besides, if she was cheating on someone, the two-timing bastard should at least have the smarts to delete the texts.

Tell your Dad. This is a family issue and he deserves to know. I'm surprised you would even think of hiding it - I'd confront her immediately.
