Sue!
he can put on a shirt to cover that up. you're nose is on your face
You should never wear any facial jewelry (except for one set of earrings if you're a woman) on a job interview! ydi
But he doesn't interact with customers he only interviews people and hire them . Its just like a job as a flight attendant if i was working as a flight attendant then i cannot have tattoos or piercings but if i worked on the ramp then i could have tattoos and other stuff mainly cause you dont have to interact with people but i think its silly how people even get offended over tattoos ..
Thats definitely a double standard. I hope things look up for you!
To all the "double standard" people: no. I have tats and piercings, and it sucks, but facial piercings are different. A dress shirt covers tats. You can't wear a bandits mask all day to cover the holes in your face.
Sorry but well deserved, a full sleeve tattoo can be hidden by jacket but you cant hide a hole in your face.
I used to wear a nose piercing. I had to remove it when I got a student job at a deli. At first it was kind of hard for me (I've been wearing it for 5 years) but I got used to it rather quickly. Now I don't work at the deli anymore but I'm still piercing-less. It's really not that big of a deal so if you really want the job, remove the piercing.
Actually the interviewer is not in the wrong at all. Where i work it is ok to have visible tattoo's showing and what not, but NOT ok to have visible piercings on their face, they must be taken out or have a clear piercing in. This is normal for almost every where. You are all retarded.
His sleeve is covetable your nose ring is not. Same as having a face tattoo. I have one small tattoo, it is on my wrist. I work at a bank. I got hired after I got the tattoo but I wore long sleeve to my interviews.

Yeah the image they're going for is "badass" and you didn't quite hit the mark ;(
Double standard much?
