while it is a bit of a dick move its also true that he may not be working directly with customers or that he can easily cover his tattoos, also op coming from someone who has both snake and angle bites why did you wear them to the interview in the first place?
a tattoo Can be covered by long sleeve shirt, what are you going to do wear a mask? take it out and get a job....bums
that's messed up, I sorry op, I've had that happen before
Sorry OP, but regardless of where you're interviewing, take it out. They have a phrase, job killer. It usually means face tattoos, but apply that to any facial art. You can wear long sleeves, which I realize he didn't, to cover professional needs. If you can't take a nose ring out for an interview, they have no reason to think you'll remove this thing on your face for other important things
YDI. Full sleeves are covered up when you wear a suit. I know plenty of guys with tattoo work, but it's always somewhere that wouldn't been seen in a professional environment. welcome to adulthood.
What piercing is? is it a septum? He's just afraid you'll take his job. Maybe it's a sign!
Who wears piercings and shows off their tats to job interviews?? Might as well not even show up!!
maybe a tattoo is easier to cover up? piercings are awesome either way
A tattoo (even a full sleeve) can be hidden - a nose piercing can't unless you take it out completely. The fact that you left it in for the interview makes them think you would not likely be willing to take it out for work. If you were serious about getting the job you would have taken it out for the interview.

Double standard much?
