Today, I went onto my band's MySpace just to check if we had any new comments or anything like that and I noticed that I was listed as a past member. Nobody ever told me I was replaced. FML

Today, I realized that I hadn't heard anything about my upcoming class reunion. Turns out it was an invite via Facebook that I didn't receive because most of my classmates are on my block list. FML

Today, I was creeping on an old coworker's Facebook and noticed they'd tagged my face in an old group photo as another girl. According to the comments, the girl they'd tagged me as thought it was her too. I worked there for two years and nobody mentioned the mistake. FML

That is a dick move, really. I would be veryyy angry, you should tell them off. Then say they suck ass, you're bass right? Go find a better band, go play better than THEIR bass player and get into that band. Good luck, your friends [ex-bandmates] suck ass.

Yeah, that's crappy. I'm starting to realize though that people act extremely immature in bands for whatever reason, no one ever acts straight with this kind of stuff. For instance a band I'm playing for now was supposed to try me out but no one ever got in touch with me, then when I ran into the singer he said the bass player was supposed to call me but said he wasn't able to get in touch with me. He didn't want to continue with the band so instead of being straight and quitting, he lied about not being able to find anyone. Sadly, I have multiple examples of this kind of behavior from other bands and I've only been playing shows for a year.

Some bands just aren't professional, but if you find yourself a good band it will stick. Good luck, you should have little problem, bassists are in demand usually.
