Today, I went out with my family and boyfriend for dinner. We were all having a good time, and suddenly at the end of dinner he decides to kneel down on one knee, take out an engagement ring, and say "I choose you, Pikachu," with a straight face. He was serious. FML

So cute. It's better than the original. I want my marriage proposal to go like this. "May the force be with us" I would die in laughter. "Let's go picachu" is even funnier though

Definitely tired of seeing FMLs like this. Why is one little comment like this an 'FML' moment? If you can't appreciate the guy for who he is, break up with him. By the way OP, have a little sense of humor. Makes life more enjoyable :)

You are overreacting OP...so many women request a unique way to be proposed to, they have high expectations...He thought of something cute, unique, and memorable...Something that in 10 years you'll look back on and laugh.
