I was born with a dick in my brain, yeah ****** in the head. My stepfather said that I sucked in the bed, till one night he snuck in and said, we're going out back, I want my dick sucked in the shed. Can't we just play with teddy ruxpin instead? After I **** you in the but, get some head, bust a nut, get some rest. The next day my mother said, I don't know what the ***** up with this kid. The bastard won't even eat nothing his fed, he just hung himself in the bedroom he's dead.

the reason its an FML is because her boyfriend doesn't know her well enough to know that she's WOULDN'T think a pokemon referenced proposal was romantic. if they both loved pokemon this would be adorable. the irony in some of these comments is thick - those of you who say "at least he didn't propose like...(blank)" are suggesting that there are ways that people could propose to you that you also would find lame. lets not be dramatic and say "he was proposing to you!" as though any proposal is a good proposal. i think we can all agree that there are ways we would like to be proposed to, be it traditional, crazy, or nerdy. the point is that you want the person proposing to know you well enough to know what you like.
