Today, I went to a concert. One of my favorite bands was performing, and I'd had the ticket for seven months, with a great seat for the show. It was all going perfectly, that is until a guy twice my height sat in front of me. FML

You should be standing at a concert instead of sitting anyways.

I feel your pain, OP. This always happens to me when I'm in the movie theaters. It's like, "yay, I found a good seat!" then a human giraffe decides to sit in front of you! D:

Was it like a rock/rap or some type of upbeat concert? If so why were you sitting? Or was it a orchestra concert? Either way at least you could hear the music which is half the reason to go to concerts...

Radiohead in Chicago? Just went to see them a couple days ago, this sounds likely. (Great concert btw). This happened to my friend at that show... But tickets were gifted to her last minute... So not her... And I interpreted it as the tall person sat in front of her and then stood up during the show, obscuring her view.

Why don't just ask if you could switch seats? If he's twice your height it shouldn't be a problem!

Then the person behind him would ask and so on and so on until he was in the back and couldnt see anything.

It happens....my last concert a big heavy set and sweaty woman sat next to me smelling like nachos and jalapeños.

I love when people say "heavy set"

A woman who sat next to me farted eight times. I counted.

I'm always that guy. No matter what venue the concert is at, the person beehind me is always half my size.

Then I've always hated you Drifter

You're not alone. I'm 6'5, and I have 27" biceps, when I sit down I ruin 2-3 people's view at once. So now I try for seats at the row dividers so I don't have to listen to the whining.

Start a mosh pit. That'll solve the problem one way or another.

Well OP look for a better seat im sure there will be one or two free seats or just stand up.

Didn't know they still had "seated" concerts. Idc if my favorite band is playing, not doin the seated thing

Climb on his back, then you I'll have the best view.

I did that watching Black Sabbath on the weekend :D
