Today, a guy was hitting on me when I was at a café. I told him I was married, but it didn't deter him, so I told him to go away. Later, my husband came home from work with his boss for dinner and sure enough, it was the same guy who was hitting on me. Suffice to say, it was one awkward dinner night. FML

I think we're all missing something here. The word wife is in quotes. This may mean that he was faking a call from a spouse to get away from the OP! However, the more likely scenario is that people need to learn how to use quotation marks.
