Today, I went to get new shoes. I'm a pretty tall girl and I have proportional feet. I asked the cute guy who worked there for a size 9.5. He burst into laughter before putting on a shocked face and saying, "Oh wait... You're serious." Goodbye, self esteem. FML

What a dick. Shove one of your shoes straight up his ass...

9.5 isn't even a huge size, I know of women with size 11 feet. Honestly, no one notices your feet, don't worry about it!

My feet are a size 9 and it's a pretty common size here. Maybe Italian women have big feet?

Is this UK sizes? Cause I know a girl, average height, 16 years old, who wears 11,5 c:

It says below the FML that OP is in America.

12, a US 9.5 is only a size 7 in the UK. Most of our shops go up to at least an 8 or a 9, it's really no big deal here.

Sorry, I don't know how to see this on a phone. (:

The girl I know wears US size 14, see that's just ******! My point is that OP should be thankful that isn't her!(:

#36, while shopping for shoes may be difficult for her, I don't see her size as "******." It's actually quite rude that you do.

9.5 aint bad. I believe that you feet does not make you who you are... They just imply that you stand firmly on the ground and that you could have kicked that sales dude in the stomach and nuts in one kick. Too hell with his stupidity.

At least he didnt have a foot fetish that would've been awkward

No big deal I wear a size 10

Why is that funny? I wear 9.5 and 10 and 5'8". If it were a 12 then gosh! I feel bad for those with 11 and 12. Hard to find cute shoes.

I'm 11 and I wear 10.5s so... You shouldn't worry

The things I'd do for size 9.5 feet! :P I'm fairly tall myself but was cursed with size 11-12 (depending on the style of shoe) I'm definitely the freak of nature, OP. Don't take what he said personally. He clearly isn't very good at being funny or professional even. If you feel he was being out of line, speak up and let someone in corporate know what happened. There's usually a 'contact us' or feedback section found on company websites.

I would say shove your foot up his ass but I don't think it would fit. Sorry OP

I'm sure she could make it fit up yours as well.

Make a complaint for injury to feelings :) You shouldn't be worried about your feet, they're just feet, don't let one inconsiderate persons opinion get to you!:)
