Today, I went to meet my boyfriend's parents for the first time. His mother, seconds upon meeting me, gave me a hug, smiled at me, and said: "It's so nice to finally meet you! All I ever hear is 'Emma this', and 'Emma that', 'I love Emma!'. He never stops talking about you!" My name's not Emma. FML

Today, I met my boyfriend’s parents for the first time. I got nervous and tried to say, "Nice to meet you, I’ve heard a lot about you!" when I should’ve just said, "It’s nice to meet you." To make things worse, it came out as, "Nice to hear you, I’ve met a lot about you." FML

Hah my Lover calls me emma and his gf doesnt know about me! LOL Btw not all mothers are like that my mother in law is friggin awesome i love her to death and she will do anything for me visa versa and men lie she can ask and he will tell her "aw baby its not true my mom misunderstood" Ask the mother or ask him right in front of her would be your best bet. Men can be dirty dogs. Now there are mothers that dont want there babies to grow up but most mothers are a little more mature than to play childish games.
