Smack that kid over the head with your broken laptop. Somebody has to..
you know there is a company that will mail a box full of elephant poop to someone for $15.
There is also a company that will ship your enemies glitter. That might not sound too bad but the way they do it is you open the letter and glitter falls everywhere. Glitter is a bitch to clean up.
I've heard of that too. Yea glitter is a bitch to clean. that would be fun too!
glitter covered elephant shit! that's the best way to do it. If you use enough glitter not all of it will stick and it'll fall everywhere and smell on top of that.
That's actually really horrible. Text books alone can be $600, can't imagine how much that laptop was. A potentially failed class as well (like maybe you had saved papers too on there). Wow that's definitely a sticky situation since it's family but I would honestly be extremely upset and probably take them to court.
How old is your cousin?
Sue for damages. Who cares if it puts a rip in your relationship with your aunt, her kid caused at the very least a thousand dollars in damages. She should have raised her kid not to take other people's stuff. Plus it sounds like she either doesn't have a gate around her pool, or your cousin is old enough to reach the latch (which means he should know better). After suing and successfully getting everything replaced, I'd cut ties with her, OP, if she didn't do so already, that is.
Again, a kid has no idea what's wrong and right.
This is where the parenting comes in and the parent takes responsibility for the mistake, but that's not the case anymore sadly
I have two little sisters and they have always known not to touch my stuff, or even so much as enter my room, without my permission. Even when they were 2-3 years old. And they definitely know better than to do anything to destroy my stuff even if they do touch it. They're always very careful. So yes, kids do know right from wrong. Especially if you teach them right from wrong and enforce it like a proper parent is supposed to do.
So what's stopping you from dishing out a punishment?
Just wondering, but how old is your cousin?
Could you tell your parents who could make your aunt punish her "little angel?"

Sue her for damages.
What a brat!! Sorry OP. :(
