Everybody gets nervous for their first interview, but who in the hell forgets their name? Op you better write your name on your hand next time so you remember.
Ah, the first interview. Mine was three rounds and six people. I was so nervous and definitely didn't do as well as I'd hoped. Don't worry, eventually you'll get the hang of it. You will get better with time. It's like learning to drive. At first you're awkward and your legs and eyes and hands are doing the weirdest things and you are starting, turning and stopping like a drunk person. Then after a while, you could do it with one hand while putting on mascara, texting, or talking on the phone. Next thing you know, you'll be drifting in Tokyo and racing in Indianapolis.
Thats illegal
I have a hard time believing this...
How do you forget your name? You've known it your whole life..
I highly doubt "a lot" of people forget their names during interviews. If you forget your name that easily because of a little nervousness your better off staying at home.
It's alright OP sometimes we all mess up. That's a part of being human! Just laugh it off and best of luck next time! ^.^
Possible answers... 1. Erm... What's it say on the resume? 2. Hold on, while I check this wallet I got off this guy I robbed. 3. Keith, ..., Keith Stone (make sure to do the beer commercial pose) (My favorite, mom always said that if I don't know the answer to a question, answer another question, so they know you're not a complete idiot) 4. pi R squared !!!!
was there any second question???
Like, for real? Totally? OMG! Like ever! Lol
Uhm... What I find disturbing from this comment is that it is coming from a guy...

Interviewer: Do you know why you are here? OP: Umm... Urging... John Smith!!!
Should've said, "sorry, I'm just nervous." It solves 9/10 problems. True Story
