Today, I went to my little cousin's school to pick her up and it happened to be my old elementary school. I saw my old teacher and went up to say hi, and after a few minutes she goes "Aren't you the girl who's dad always came in drunk on parent's day?" Nice to know that's how I'm remembered. FML

wow, that teacher is an asshole

Couldve said something back like and you're the teacher no one liked. Wouldn't work if she's really nice though

FYL for sure, but not for what your asshole teacher said. No, FYL for deriving some amount of your low self esteem from someone who you could not control. Your father's behavior is not indicative, nor predictive of who you as a person are, nor what you can become. Get some professional counseling or else you may end up an alcoholic...

props to ur dad he still found time to show up to parents day my parents never showed up to those at least he's a loving drunk

"If I'm such a bad dad, why are we all dancing?"

That was very unprofessional and rude. I would have said, "Yes, and you must be the teacher who didn't bother to call Children's Services or at least speak to the guidance counselor.

If I was your teacher I'd remember you as the American girl who doesn't know the difference between "who's" and "whose"...
