Wow, your life is so hard. I had mouth appliances for four years, including braces and a retainer, AND having my face swell up twice in the last year from my body's reaction to an infection that made me have three root canals.

Trust me not bad. I've had braces for ten years. No lie. Since grade school. I get them off in 3 days. But wasn't planning on this for at least 2 more years.

oh boo-hoo I have em too n I'll have em through high school. a lot of people have braces consider urself 'normal' now.
