Today, I went to the doctor about my bruised runners toes. She was inexperienced when It came to athletic injuries, so she googled my condition. I just paid to have her tell me exactly what I had already just googled before I left for my appointment. FML

So why exactly did you see a doctor if you already made a diagnosis? So quit complaining, at least she validated your thoughts!

Believe it or not, that happens ALL the time. Our family doctor retired and he referred us to a complete moron. The straw that broke the camel's back was prescribing the wrong cream for my sister's foot and then googling what the right perscription should've been.

You shouldn't go to the doctor just to have them look at something that you can google yourself. You go to a doctor when you are sick or have an emergency, and for scheduled checkups. They are not there to give you peace of mind about a bruise. WTF did you expect her to do?

No...SOME of them aren't funny. Wordsworth wrote some of the greatest poems in the English language, but 75% of what he wrote is shit. You can't expect even the greats to be great all the time.

All doctors look up things they're not real familiar with. They also get advice from other docs in the office. Get over it.
