Today, I went to the hairdresser for the first time in the country I just moved to. Guess I don't speak the language as well as I thought. FML

Very, very hard... I've been taking German daily for almost 6 months now and still get the 5 W's & 1 H mixed up.. Except for wo. At least some German words are similar sounding to English words, and some even the exact same words, it's just conjugating that's a pain in the ass.

Nope. I LOVE my hairdresser! I never leave her chair thinking anything less than how much I love my haircut. 4 or 5 months since my last cut and people still stop me to tell me how great my hair looks and ask if I've recently had it done. You get what you pay for. Never cut costs when it comes to your haircut.

To be fair, some of us English-speakers don't know hair fashion lingo so we'd probably end up with a terrible haircut too. Normally I bring pictures just in case. :)
