Today, I went to the mall and had to parallel park. It took me 10 to 12 minutes of maneuvering before I got into the slot. When I turned off the car and got out, there were 8 people laughing hysterically and clapping for me. FML

why did it take you so long? and , im sorry, but you would have to be pretty sad to stand and watch someone trying to parallel park for 10 minutes.

Hey, I don't even know how to parallel park. As sad as that is, I've never had to use it in my 4 years of driving.

There were no other parking spots at a mall? I can see your dilemma if that's the case (I suck at parallel parking because I rarely have to), but assuming the mall has a parking lot, why not find somewhere farther away instead of wasting ten to twelve minutes?

lol tht sucks man.. gotta get better at drivin don't wrry alotta ppl can't parallel park quickl u'll get used to it

shut up all u assholes who give her a hard time about parallel parking. in some parking situations, it can be extremely difficult. And even if it's not, she could have been having an off day - AS WE ALL DO. I've been in this situation before myself. I was taking a test in school, and it took me up until the last few minutes of class to complete it. but apparently it took everyone else just a couple of minutes, and when i went to turn it in, the whole class laughed and mock-clapped. I have a test-taking anxiety, and the event scarred me to a point where i now have to take tests in a separate room unless i want to hyperventilate.

WTF? What does being a woman have ANYTHING to do with her failure at parallel parking? Everyone at their own rate, so get over yourself you d*cks

Oy. I, too, fail at parallel parking. I was really happy with myself the one day I managed to parallel with two tries.

I wouldn't see that as embarassing. I would look at is as funny! You should've bowed, that would've made it better! lol

Personally, if i did that and people where applauding me, i would've bowed.

What a surprise! A woman driver! I guess some stereotypes are true

I wonder if she was driving a sedan or a much larger vehicle...

dude. give the person a brake..... i mean if they can't drive then its there fault. you don't have to keep pointing it out. maybe the person just got licenses
