Why didn't you just ask someone where it went?
In this situation after 5 minutes you tell them either let you go or call the cops. If the call the cops you sue them for defamation of character.

Report them to the store. Loss-prevention gets in serious shit for harassing someone who hasn't stolen. Many places outright fire you if you detain someone wrongfully.
