Today, I went to visit teachers at the high school I graduated from 3 months ago as valedictorian. Turns out, I had an expired parking permit, and I didn't properly get a visitor pass. The school went into a "yellow lockdown" because of me. My car was towed. I got arrested for trespassing. FML

Today, I got pulled over for having an expired registration. I also found out my husband hasn't been paying for my car insurance. Luckily, I didn't get arrested because I had my baby with me. They towed my car and gave me 2 tickets and a court date. Oh, and the cop sent me a friend request. FML

Today, I went to my girlfriend's Catholic all girls high school to ask her to prom by decorating her car. As soon as I walked on campus the school went into lock down because of a "suspicious male intruder." When I saw my girlfriend, she denied knowing me. I was arrested. FML

Today, my car was stolen from my driveway. I reported it to the police, the insurance company, and my neighbors, and begged for help via social media. As I walked to catch a bus, I saw my car parked outside my school. I forgot I left it there last night. FML

Today, I got called out of class to talk to some cops. Turns out my car was involved in a hit and run accident, while I was in school and there was no possible way it could have been me. But since they have no one else, it's my fault. FML

Today, my boss reported to the police that a suspicious car has been parked outside the store late at night. I walked outside and my car was gone. He had my car towed. FML

Today, I hit a car while trying to park. Assuming that no one saw, I moved my car and parked somewhere else. Hours later I get a call from the university police. While backing up to go to the police station I hit another car. FML

Today, I was walking to school and decided to be a good citizen by picking up a beer can on the sidewalk. I then walked on to my school's campus where I then got suspended by my dean for "trying to rebel", grounded by my parents for getting suspended, and an MIP from the school's police guard. FML

Today, I let my dad borrow my car. I found out a few hours later that he has had a suspended license for three years. How did I find out? He got pulled over and arrested. My car was also impounded. I'm a college student barely making it as it is. Guess who can't afford the impound fees? FML

Today, I woke up at 7 am to take my last final. When I got to the parking lot, I realized my car was missing. After speaking to the police for 3 hours, I called my girlfriend to let her know what happened. She then told me I had parked on the street the night before. So much for the 8 am final. FML

Majority of cops actually do do their jobs, you do know that right? Yeah sure some aren't too great, but a lot are. Watch one day you'll need a cop to help you out. It's a shame you "hate" them.

I don't see why you had to mention being valedictorian. Anyway, I went back to my old high school years after I graduated and everyone (staff, I mean) recognized me and I was just Some Random Student while in school. I parked in a visitor's spot, didn't get a pass or anything but was able to visit my old teachers without any problems. Maybe it's because it's quite common for that in my high school, though.

I'm not surprised, people who had graduated from my school and came back to visit always got kicked out and threatened with being arrested. They treat you just the same as a random person off the street.

You must have gone to a pretty shitty school because when I went back to mine after my first year of university all my old teachers were glad to see me and even let me sit in on some of their classes. I even joined the senior band for a couple months because they needed people who didn't suck.

Not too paranoid. School violence is ridiculous these days and I'm for codes like this. The problem is that once you're on lockdown, the person you're trying to get away from... is probably locked in with you. It'll be decades until they figure out a better system.

Wow. You're obviously not smart at all. YDI. if you went to that school, for 4 years im assuming, you would know the rules and regulations about strangers on campus. Is it really that hard to check in as a guest? You're no different from any other person who wants to visit the school and you're certainly not special just cause you graduated valedictorian. I feel sorry for all the people who were on lockdown. Im sure it sucked balls to not be able to leave the classroom cause some idiot didn't care to get a pass.
