This individual won’t realise. For your own sake, forgive them and move on.
I disagree with my of the comments that say you need help, therapy or to fix yourself in some way. You haven’t expressed that you wish they would come back into your life, you just miss them. Wishing someone well is a sign of maturity, compassion and empathy. Missing a person (or a job, or a home) that wasn’t perfect isn’t a sign that you don’t value yourself, it a a sign that you valued that person, job or place, and miss the way they/it made you feel at the time. them well
