Today, I woke up happier than I've ever been because last night I hooked up with the girl I have loved for almost a year and I thought I would never get with her. This morning I saw that her status on Facebook was "FML". FML

I'm going with YDI on this because how you worded it kinda reveals the problem. If you really loved a girl, you wouldn't refer to it as "hooking up with". That's what you do with some ***** you meet at a club while drunk. My conclusion is that you treated her like a piece of meat, which made her regret the night. Had you made her feel special, paid attention to her needs, and showed her that this wasn't just a one time thing and that you had feelings for her, she probably would be your girlfriend right now.
