And agreed, you should have gotten another glass. But it's still hilarious To the people saying it's gross to keep contacts in a glass of water and you should put them up in a case with saline, you're right. But from what it sounds like, the friend a. Didn't have a case for them when she stayed the night with the OP -or- b. Was too lazy to put them up
You got one stupid GF! I was once arrested and put in a cell and they gave me 2 cups with water in it to put my contacts in there. Next morning i put my contacts back in and it felt like i had frikking acid in my eyes.
Who the eff puts their contacts in a glass of water? That's disgusting. As a long time user of contacts, I'd never use anything but solution and my contact case unless I was truly desperate. FYL indeed.
I wouldn't even think about putting my contacts in a glass of water, it's like the MAIN RULE of contact lenses. Neverever put them in water. She'd have been better off sleeping in them. I slept with mine in once or twice, when I stayed over at people's houses and forgot my solution and cases, and I was perfectly fine. Just took them out and cleaned them and everything was fine. So I'm saying FYL 'cause your friend's an idiot.

this is from a t.v. show- "the big day" it aired for like 1/2 a season about a wedding where everything went wrong so im guessing its fake
#90 What hasn't been on a TV show? Just because it was on Television doesn't neccessarily mean it didn't happen in reality.

I would never drink out of a glass that already was filled with water, especially after a night of drinking with no way to know what the glass contains other than water. Is it normal to even put contacts in a glass of water? I thought that you were only supposed to put them in their containers with the saline solution.
oh gross who keeps their contacts floating in a glass of water?
