Today, I woke up to find my power was out. After taking a shower in the dark and being unable to make myself lunch, my power came on two minutes before I had to leave for school. FML

I think your school finds it a proper excuse why you were late if you didn't make it in the end. It sounds like the black out wasn't only in your house so they can even look it up if it is that horrible your late

i agree with #143. this doesnn't suck. buy the school luch... DUH! why are so many FMLs on her just plain stupid? none of them are really funny, or an FML moment. it always is everyday things that don't really matter.

Lies. With no power, the water pump and water heater wouldn't work so you couldn't take a shower. Plus, what kind of moron can't make lunch with a flashlight for light?

In flat land like here in south Louisiana, there is no need for power to pump water into a house. Water is pumped into tall water towers and gravity feeds the showers in houses.

Depends on where you live. In England and France, there is no such thing as a water pump to feed water to your house. OK, the water heater won't work if the power's out, but a cold shower isn't the worst thing in the world to live through. No need to shout out "Lies" and call people morons as though you're a worldwide authority on the matter.

wah wah wah. a storm blew through here and we were out of power for a week. cold showers dont kill you and candles and flash lights do wonders. we made sandwitches amd cooked on the grill. ydi cause your a wimp.

For those saying it cant be dark in the morning here in Scotland at the moment its winter so sun rises at about 8:00am and sets at about 4:00pm I'm sure it can be the same in Canada.
