Today, I woke up to my boyfriend's crazy ex, who let herself in with her old key. She screamed at me to get out of "her" bed, snatched "her" blanket off of my body, and finally dragged the bed itself out the door. I was still in it. FML

jellyfish_ftw tells us more.

OP, replying. this is my big explanation, so pay attention. the whole situation came about because my boyfriend was trying to keep the breakup friendly since they had a kid together, and he wants to stay in his daughter's life. therefore, he hadn't really made a fuss about making her give back everything of his/take everything of hers. this was also because he didn't fully realize how crazy she was. the ex hated my guts already and we all knew it, and she had made threats to my boyfriend saying things like, "she'd better hope she doesn't come across me anywhere, or i'll kick her ass." the morning of the incident, he had left early for work 45 minutes away, leaving me to sleep in. his ex called him at work telling him she needed to get something from the apartment, which he usually leaves unlocked because we live in a small town. he told her it was locked and that i was there and he didn't want her going over there......which made her insanely angry, obviously. she came over with her old key and her sister (in the sister's van) and started flipping shit. i was asleep, and i don't know about the rest of you, but i'm extremely disoriented and out of it when i first wake up. so all i could really do was stare blearily at her while she yelled and tore blankets off. when she grabbed the bed, i woke up enough to get out of it. she took off with the bed, which was a double-size box-spring and mattress, and dragged it to her sister's van which was waiting outside, and they drove off. when my boyfriend came home and found out the situation, he bitched her out and told her he would do something about it if she ever came in without asking/him being there again. there you go, FML. full story.

What I wanna know is, why did you stay in the bed while she dragged it out of the door?

Obviously the OP's bf has a thing for crazy bitches... I don't know if the OP is crazy, but she's most definitely a heinous bitch!

i assume that you're pleasant and cheerful when confronted with a psycho ex? of course i was bitchy to the negative commentors, dumbass. or do you normally smile and say "thank you" when people call you stupid/crazy/a liar for no reason?

Geez... After reading the FML, I felt sorry for you. After reading all of the crap you keep responding to people, now I'm inclined to believe that you're as trashy as your bf's ex. You want to post an un-needed explanation, fine. But seriously, stop bitching at everyone for having an opinion - it's annoying.

Really? You're upset that you explained something poorly and people responded poorly in return? Say it ain't so! Also, I don't know about you, but when I wake up on my own I take awhile to get up and get going. When someone BREAKS INTO MY LIVING SPACE, and then begins TAKING THINGS THAT ARE NOT THEIRS, I don't idly sit by and go "Oh noes, its been 30 seconds since I've been awake, I guess I should sit here and let someone steal my things :(". I call the police, I tell them to get the **** out, I tell them they can't take ANY-THING without me talking to my significant other and her completely and totally affirming that they're able to take these things. Also, you being a total **** in here doesn't help your case. Everyone has bad days, that doesn't mean you get to lash out at any ******* person that you want. You don't get to be a bitch to everyone because you had a bad day.

To those of you saying the OP should get out of the ex's bed, notice how the OP put her in quotes ("her") which could suggest that the ex assumed it was her bed but really it wasnt...just a guess...

^ this. thank god for people who actually read the FML lol. it was no longer her bed, just like he is no longer her boyfriend. :)

OP, you should quit while you're ahead. You're only making things worse for yourself. Bowing out of this stupidity.

I just read the entire page of comments of this. I think it is much better when the OP replies to comments so whoever said that "she cared so much that she had to reply to FML comments" is an idiot. It is a way of dealing with stress. Honestly for the first half of reading, I thought the story was fake. It obviously isn't otherwise the OP wouldn't still be posting. She actually has a legit story that is plausible it looks like. I do hope you don't talk to everyone you don't like like this in real life though. That's why the internet is great though, you can talk to people like that without any harm being done. What is being done about the situation is all I want to know. Restraining order? Police envolvement? That is the sketchy part of the story.

YDI for just letting her rummage around the house to find "her" belongings. I seriously doubt anyone can be that out of it waking up to a stranger in their home taking their things.

How did she manage to take the bed out with you on it? She must be one hell of a strong woman.. And it must have been a wide door or a small bed to fit out of the door..

How do you pull a bed out of a door with someone in it? Wouldn't you have to turn it sideways?
