Today, I woke up to my boyfriend's crazy ex, who let herself in with her old key. She screamed at me to get out of "her" bed, snatched "her" blanket off of my body, and finally dragged the bed itself out the door. I was still in it. FML

OP, replying. this is my big explanation, so pay attention. the whole situation came about because my boyfriend was trying to keep the breakup friendly since they had a kid together, and he wants to stay in his daughter's life. therefore, he hadn't really made a fuss about making her give back everything of his/take everything of hers. this was also because he didn't fully realize how crazy she was. the ex hated my guts already and we all knew it, and she had made threats to my boyfriend saying things like, "she'd better hope she doesn't come across me anywhere, or i'll kick her ass." the morning of the incident, he had left early for work 45 minutes away, leaving me to sleep in. his ex called him at work telling him she needed to get something from the apartment, which he usually leaves unlocked because we live in a small town. he told her it was locked and that i was there and he didn't want her going over there......which made her insanely angry, obviously. she came over with her old key and her sister (in the sister's van) and started flipping shit. i was asleep, and i don't know about the rest of you, but i'm extremely disoriented and out of it when i first wake up. so all i could really do was stare blearily at her while she yelled and tore blankets off. when she grabbed the bed, i woke up enough to get out of it. she took off with the bed, which was a double-size box-spring and mattress, and dragged it to her sister's van which was waiting outside, and they drove off. when my boyfriend came home and found out the situation, he bitched her out and told her he would do something about it if she ever came in without asking/him being there again. there you go, FML. full story.

Jesus, what a psycho. And where was your boyfriend when this was happening?

What I wanna know is, why did you stay in the bed while she dragged it out of the door?

Its not impossible for a woman to pull a bed through a doorway, granted it has to be a large doorway for the occupant to remain on the bed. My old apartment had a very large bedroom doorway and my bed was extremely easy to move. I also understand why the OP might have stayed in bed, its very possible she was disoriented and quite possible she stayed in bed in an attempt to hide her naked body. I agree with some of the other posters, wonder if the "ex-girlfriend" knows shes an ex, or maybe it was her bed and she just came to get it.

Although an outlier, I think it's worth considering that perhaps your boyfriend is still seeing and/or sleeping with this apparently crazy bitch. Either she is truly nuts, or your boyfriend is not telling you something. I consider myself a normal gal and just TODAY I slept with my on/off ex (he came over last night for the first time in a couple of months.) He had a girlfriend for a bit when we were off and I thought it was over until I randomly saw his car tonight... at what turns out to be her house. FML! I am a normal girl and this on/off is a unique situation, but I can see where someone in my similar situation may have flown off the handle and tried to knock on the door or something?

Seriously be smarter next time. Move! Or change your door locks. Or don't let that crazy biotch keep the key

Your boyfriend should have given a time period for her to pick up her stuff and leave the key. And she should have listened. Its his aparetment, she has no right to go in when he says not to, even if she had the key. **** your life and his daughter's life.

I started feeling bored after your third explanation. Do you like drama and complications? Probably, I can only see that your boyfriend looks for women who do. Did the kid-together and ex-with-keys not tip you off for future complications? While I perfectly understand how someone cannot necessarily jump out of bed like a jack in the box when a crazy lady stands there ripping sheets off, I do not understand how you and especially your boyfriend couldn’t anticipate this (as this kind of behaviour is rarely completely unprecedented). NEXT time? He should've called the cops on her ass.

please please tell me he didn't said NEXT time... let us know he did something about it right away. Oh fyl and his kid life and how the **** didn't he call the dman police on her!? I would if he didn't!

I started feeling bored whilst reading your comment.

OP certainly responds to alot more comments than people normally do...

why not? most comment pages are nothing but assumptions, so i figured i'd clarify. plus, not gonna lie, it feels good to bitch about it to the anonymous world of the internet. :)

oh yes, the timeless crazy bitch of an ex girlfriend tale.
