Today, I woke up to my yard covered in snow, Christmas music playing loudly, and my noisy, obnoxious aunt and her three year old twin daughters playing and screaming. They're going to be living with us until after the winter holidays. It's only November 18th. FML

Simple solution: Play loud heavy metal music such as Metallica, System Of A Down, Slipknot, or whatever comes to your mind and just crank it up! They'll get annoyed and leave. Or just run around the house naked screaming "SUCK ME OFF!! WOOO!"

Anyone else notice the husband/dad wasn't mentioned? Maybe OP's aunt is going through a divorce or separation. OP, suck it up. IMO, it seems like all your aunt was doing was trying to have a little bit of fun with her children. If the husband/dad isn't in the picture for a reason, maybe instead of complaining you should be thankful for the little things you do have. Are you so jaded you can't even even watching small children having fun without cracking a smile yourself?

To be fair, Op never said that the children were obnoxious, just the aunt. The Aunt is staying in their home and should be respectful of that. It is one thing to go out and play with your children, it is another to blast Christmas music early in the morning and wake up the neighbors and everyone else.
