Ouch. I have been given poems before. I do think they are corny, but the thought that someone put so much effort to impress me is what makes me smile. It's the symbolism, not the words on the paper. That guy isn't very bright, is he? I'd go for a nerd. Smart is the new sexy. xP

well.. for starters.. he's a dousche bag and you can do better.. i can't stand those types.. he prolly also is the guy that is all.. i hate girls that need to hear that i love her..dumb ass.. will always be alone prolly.. don't listen to these idiots advice in efforts to make you feel like crap either.. the fact of the matter is even if the poem wasn't to him and you just wanted someones support in reading it ... he shouldn't have went there.. the only reason people say those things are because they don't have the balls to be that upfront with their own emotions don't waste your time on guys like that.. they get you nowhere in life except the dark hole they crawled out of

i get not writing something for someone about vulnerability if you're gonna show them, but wtf is with people saying it's weird for girls to write poetry for guys? i feel bad for them. that's pretty ignorant and very rude, in my opinion. keep on writing.

What a douche. It takes guts to do things like that. If you can express yourself that way then keep it up. Everyone needs a healthy outlet.
