Today, I yet again had to explain to my boyfriend how sleeping with another person is cheating. It's been three days, and almost as many fights. He still doesn't get it. FML

'Most people' may win elections. But 'most people' don't have a say in my relationship. Nor should they have in OP's. OP get to decide what she finds acceptable. Not 'most people'. If OP should choose to stay in the relationship - they are two who has to find common ground.

I had exactly the same feeling. Because if you're talking about sleeping as closing the eyes and going to dreamland, I think opinions would differ a lot if that's cheating or not... in the other meaning: maybe he's polyamorous. But than you must be on the same level or leave each other.

Honestly at this point you really can't be surprised when (not if) he does it again. He's completely aware that it's cheating, he just doesn't care, and I promise from experience if you stay it will never get better.
