I'm the OP, and I'm glad this got published! For those wondering, it is a fake tree. And it was actually because of my laziness that I had her take it down because I never got around to it. That is when she came up with her "brilliant" idea to cover it with Valentine's Day decorations, which my parents did not seem too impressed with haha.

After I was forced to take down my spider lights outside from Halloween mid November, I hung them in my bedroom window. They are still there, looking awesome. So much better than Christmas lights.

Lol that's what I did with my tree for the first time this year... Currently has paper hearts hanging on it made by my nieces :) this is a pretty popular thing to do apparently
