what?! he put a ring (to symbolise their marriage/the fact that they were married) on his xbox avatar. he doesn't want to marry the avatar, which i guess is what you were saying? i'm very tired so if i have misunderstood it then please by all means do whatever. but if i have got it right then, oh my god...

That's actually kind of cute. If you don't think he's putting enough effort into your relationship, tell him so. Generally a man isn't going to realize you think there's a problem unless you tell him straight. Women are subtle, men are usually not. But yeah, I think it's kind of cute... ^_^
