Today, it's been about 8 months since I moved into my studio flat. It was already furnished, there was no bed but a fancy bedseat from Ikea. I slept uncomfortably on it for months until I realised it pulls out to become a double bed. FML

Look on the bright side; it was already assembled.

I think you should just play around with it first, then you would have found it earlier.

Usually when I pull out, there's a only a single breed.

Never dropped a quarter by accident and had to look under the cushions?

Seeing as they're British I'm going to say that they've never dropped a 'quarter'.

Bedsits aren't furniture, but you meant sofabed, right?

I presume you're referring to a futon as if you meant a hide-a-bed you'd think it was just a couch.

Wauw you were okay with a furbished appartment seemingly without a bed xD?

A bedsit? This isn't even a term here, but according to google it's like an apartment not a piece of furniture so I dunno what you're talking about. A futon, maybe? Anyway I wouldn't have spent 8 months without figuring out something for sleeping more comfortably, and I probably would have played with the sofa or whatever first knowing that things like futons and pull-out couches exist because I don't live in a cave (like are they not common in the UK or something?).

Yeah, a bedsit is what we call a studio apartment. It's not furniture. Though sofa beds (I'd call it a pull-out-couch too) are common, and to be expected in flats with limited space...

Don't feel bad OP, it sounds like something I'd do...
