Well, if you didn't tell them they didn't get the job already when you got out of the elevator, you are a moron. You should have said, "yeah I'm a whatever they called you. You already didn't get the job, have a nice day." This should be a FTL not FML

I'd be a little annoyed as well but why the FML, OP? You DID say they don't know yet. It's pretty easy to use that against them.
